What to post on Twitter

When you want to make your tweet popular, you can buy Twitter likes or attract users with great content. Knowing what to post on Twitter isn’t always easy, but in this post I’ll give you some advice that I hope will inspire you.

Twitter has always had the characteristic of being a social network with “synthetic” content, fast news and constantly updated. A true “information network”.

This brevity has recently given way a little: thanks to a few more characters, the maximum size of tweets has gone from 140 to 280 characters.

Despite this “epochal” turning point, its fundamental aspect continues to be one: to communicate effectively in a few lines.

So, what to communicate? What to post on Twitter?

I want to answer this question by giving you some keywords:

  • Intrigue: Surely the most important point is to enhance your content. If you have a blog, the articles you write must absolutely go through good communication on this social network. So you will present your article in a concise but convincing way, you will have to intrigue your followers and get them to read your content. The tweet will have to be a push to deepen what you propose.
  • Reality: Stay connected to everyday life. Twitter is also a form of new journalism, so comment, analyze and share what’s going on.
  • Empathy: Involve your followers by asking questions, show them that you satisfy a certain need, a certain curiosity and lead them, through this involvement, to take the action that interests you through a call to action.
  • Involvement: Try to create a storytelling day after day, you will create habits in those who follow you. Your followers, if you’ve created the right premises, will expect a follow-up to what you announced. Create surveys that can give you some more information, but that also lead followers to get involved in what you propose. They will feel closer knowing their opinion matters.
  • Participation: Share photos of the events in which you participate, Twitter gives the possibility to add more images, and to be able to modify them through the filters. Same thing for the videos that can be shared directly and make the user participate in your activities, in addition to the fact that they are of strong impact.
  • Irony: GIFs on Twitter came before Twitter and gave this social network a little more lightness. Do not overdo it!

Plan and analyze your tweets

Create a communication plan, which extends to the most popular and important social networks for your business.

You know very well that each social network has a different communicative cut, so you will have to create a specific weekly editorial plan for Twitter, also based on the advice I just gave you.

So be concise, effective, clear and incisive. And, as always, it creates valuable content.

I hope I have inspired you and now you have some good ideas on what to post on Twitter.

Do you have any to share? Do it in the comments!
